Peter Conway first worked with William Goodchild in Bristol on a similar cross-genre project involving Roni Size, Reprazent and the Bristol Ensemble. Peter had invited Roni to contribute a project for the re-opening of Colston Hall. Roni stated he wanted to involve an orchestra and Peter introduced him to William Goodchild who was already working on another project involving David Attenborough for the celebrations. The two individuals immediately hit it off and William was able to turn Roni's vision into a reality. The overall budget was in excess of £50k and the team produced the project to great acclaim on time and within budget.
When William approached Peter recently to become involved in Interplay Series, he had no hesitation in accepting. Peter Conway Management, whose offices are based in London, will coordinate Interplay Series and manage the project's budget. Peter has over thirty five years experience in the music business and has successfully coordinated a number of previous ACE applications including Explorations at Kings Place, Soweto Kinch's The Legend of Mike Smith, and more recently Gwyneth Herbert's The Sea Cabinet tour.
